Woven hot pads, place mats and center pieces

Woven hot pad (trivet) and center piece inspired by boa pattern

This stunning design of a hot pad (trivet) was made by native artisans from the Bora villages of Brillo Nuevo and Puca Urquillo on the Ampiyacu River.  It is woven with natural chambira palm fiber with an orange background dyed with achiote seeds with black embroidered circles inspired by the pattern of the rainforest boa constrictor.

Available in two sizes to serve as a hot pad, trivet or placemat
