This unique angel fish decoration and ornament was made from chambira palm fiber by an artisan from the campesino village of San Francisco on the Maranon River in the Peruvian Amazon. While this fish is popular in aquariums, its native home are Amazonian waters where its stripes provide good camouflage to hide it from predators and the little fish and invertebrates that it preys on.
