These elegant boho-style necklaces features a lacquered cross-section of the ayahuasca vine above a carved stone head from the Iquito native tradition hanging from a macrame waxed thread necklace. Ayahuasca is used by many Amazon shamans in traditional ceremonies. The necklace was made by an expert artisan from Iquitos who has worked with the Center for Amazon Community Ecology for ten years.
This necklace is adorned with one pair of small spherical stone beads. The waxed twine has two knots that allow easy adjustment of the length to fit it over your head and then tighten.
The stone head is 3/4" wide and 1" to 1 1/4" tall. The ayahuasca piece ranges from 1/2 to 3/4" in diameter.
