This unique elegant boho-style necklace features a lacquered cross-section of the ayahuasca vine above a piece of pink spondylus shell carved into the shape of a leaf embedded in a black macrame waxed thread necklace. It is adorned with two pairs of tiger eye and synthetic malaquite stone beads. Ayahuasca is used by many Amazon shamans in traditional healing ceremonies. The necklace was made by an expert artisan from Iquitos who has worked with the Center for Amazon Community Ecology for ten years.
The spondylus leaf is 2 3/4" tall and 1 1/4" wide. The ayahuasca vine piece is about 3/4" in diameter. The necklace has a waxed twine with two knots that allow easy adjustment of the length to fit it over your head and then tighten.
