The base patterns of these models is a crescent moon, adorned with a bead made from bamboo or an achira (black) or small huayruru (orange and black) seed. Some models have a curvy silver wire design, some have quill dangles. Each pair features a synthetic turquoise dot in the middle and white and dark brown quills with flattened silver wire diamond dangles. One model has circular paiche dangles.
These earrings are made by expert artisans from Iquitos who have worked with the Center for Amazon Community Ecology for ten years. The French hooks are made with non-allergenic material.
